A new £26,570 range-topping Skoda Octavia has been launched. The Laurin & Klement model features adaptive cruise control, brown leather trim, an upgraded audio system and 18-inch alloy wheels. 
Newly-created Fiat Chrysler Automobiles will have its headquarters based in London rather than Italy. The move was down to the need to base some functions of the group in the city, said group boss Sergio Marchionne speaking at a press conference. Earlier this year Fiat signed a £2.6 billion deal to take full control of Chrysler.  
Around 7000 Kia Sportage and Soul models have been recalled in the UK because of a possible seat belt fault. Kia says that in some cases the belt-tensioner can fail, and although no injuries have been reported as a result of this fault, the company is choosing to replace any potentially affected units.
